Outdoor swimming pool
|
The outdoor swimming pool is guaranteed fun for everybody with its
large slide, landing stage, grassed sunbathing areas and even a small
café, is open from the middle of May until the middle of September. A
day pass costs between € 1.50 and € 2.20 – free entrance for everybody
who is holding a Carinthian or a Power card.

Indoor swimming pool

In the indoor swimming pool area of the Hotel
Weißbriach guests find fantastic recreational facilities. The sauna
with steam bath, health suite and beauty area offers massages among
other things.
Opening hours: All-year round from 11.00 am to 09:00 pm, the sauna from 02:00 to 09:00pm.

The riding stable Golz is a paradise for every horse lover. In summer
the stables offer children horse ridings, riding courses, lunge hours,
tournament, and riding excursions. In the winter romantic horse riding
sleighs and horse rides through a snowy landscape are available.

| For tennis players two well-kept courts are available. The tennis
courts are located on the peaceful edge of the nearby woods. A tennis
coach offer courses for kids, beginners and advanced persons. Every
year in August the traditional guest tournament takes place with
international participants.

The family skiing area
“Weissbriach” is ideal for every beginner and for those who wish to
improve their skills. There are 3 T-bar lifts for skiers and
snowboarders, skiing school, ski and snowboard rental and traditional
huts.
The pistes are well prepared and are open from 20th December until Middle of March – daily from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm.

Skiing area Nassfeld
Free shuttle service from Weissbriach to the
valley station of the Millennium Express every hour. The skiing region
Nassfeld is located in the south-west of Carinthia, directly on the
border to Italy. 30 lifts (5 cable-cars, 4 6-seater chair-lifts, 4
4-seater chair-lifts, 17 T-bar lifts) carry up to 42,000 passengers per
hour up to over 2,000 metres above sea level; here skiers and
snowboarders can spread out over 110 kilometres of well prepared pistes
of all levels of difficulty. There are even two fun courses for
snowboarders.
The idyllic situated lake “Weissensee”
Every year in mid-December, Weissensee - the famous lake in the Carinthia’s
Natural
Arena - freezes over, forming with 6.5 km2, the largest area of natural
ice in Europe. A playground for speed skaters, ice golfers, ice hackers
and - ordinary ice-skaters.
Carinthia’s Natural Arena offers 300 km cross country skiing tracks with 42 double-track trails.
